New Project on New Ways of Climate Diplomacy

In light of the limited progress of international climate policy development and the end of the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol in 2012, there is a need for supplementary efforts to develop plans of action regarding crisis and conflict preventive climate policy. The German-led debate on climate change in the UN Security Council in July 2011 was a first step in this regard. New Project: Adapting Guidelines for Energy Management Systems to the ISO 50001 International Standard

Following the introduction of DIN EN 16001, adelphi developed guidelines for corporations and organisations, which are in their fifth edition and also available in English and Chinese. The guidelines are currently being updated and adapted to the specifications of ISO 50001 with the aim of meeting the needs of future users of an international energy management systems standard. » more

New Project: Opportunities and Potential of Future Green Markets

Future green markets are critical for Germany’s strong international trade position. On behalf of the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) and together with its partners, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and the Institute of Economic Structures Research (GWS mbH), adelphi explores the importance of expanding future green markets with respect to the economy in general and environmental protection in particular. The results will be used to define the framework of possible actions to promote future green markets and develop adequate environmental policy instruments. » more
