Silas Schuermann joined adelphi as a Project Manager in the field of energy efficiency and climate protection. He focuses on the rational use of energy in industrial plants, tourism and buildings.

During his apprenticeship as a carpenter, he gained practical experience in the construction and renovation of buildings. He focused on small-scale manufacturing and the construction of family homes in wood frame construction.

Afterwards, he studied energy and environmental engineering with an emphasis on renewable energies at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. The topic of his thesis was “The Energetic Optimisation of an Existing District Heating Network”.

Silas Schuermann is a qualified energy consultant for buildings and gained practical experience in the planning and installation of renewable energy systems in New Zealand and Germany.
