Tobias Hausotter

Senior Project Manager

Tobias Hausotter works at adelphi as a Senior Project Manager in the field of Climate and Energy. The key focus of his work is the international carbon market, particularly emissions trading. Currently, he is in charge of the Secretariat of the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP). Additionally, he has worked on approaches to a low carbon economy and was actively involved in the founding process of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).

Tobias Hausotter is experienced in the design, implementation and evaluation of projects for national and international clients. His responsibilities range from the development of workshops and conferences, implementation of trainings to consulting services for public clients as well as conceptual and academic work. He also holds a Capacity WORKS certificate.

Before joining adelphi, Tobias Hausotter interned at the foreign and security policy division of the German Federal Chancellery and the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France, and dealt with international subjects such as human rights, global issues and the United Nations.

Tobias Hausotter studied international relations at the Dresden University of Technology and at the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France. He then received his Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
