Amarnath Munnolimath works at adelphi as a Project Manager in the fields of sustainability entrepreneurship, resource efficiency, waste management and green finance. He currently oversees the planning, coordination and implementation of the SEED Awards and the SEED Starter programmes, and also supports the implementation of resource efficiency projects.
Before joining adelphi, Amarnath worked at Daily Dump, a waste management start-up in Bengaluru, India, where he gained experience in the field of market planning and event organisation. He previously held a two-year position as Executive Production Engineer at Larsen and Toubro in Mumbai, India's largest manufacturing firm, where he was in charge of project planning and the supervision of the technical workforce.
Amarnath completed a Master's degree in Sustainable Resource Management at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. During his studies, he specialised in issues related to social enterprise ecosystems, challenges and opportunities for women’s empowerment, and impact investment for social enterprises in India. For his Master's thesis, he investigated the role of social entrepreneurship in developing economies and examined ways to boost women’s empowerment in India. He previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal University, India.
