Johannes Fehr works as a Project Manager on the topic of energy. His areas of expertise include renewable energies and energy efficiency. He is currently coordinating the trade module of the “National Top-Runner Initiative” for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) that aims to promote energy efficient products. Additionally he is leading Horizon 2020 projects of the European Union from adelphi's side.
Johannes Fehr is experienced in writing studies on the topic of energy efficiency in industry and households. He worked on commercially available innovations with high relevance for energy efficiency in the industrial sector and the evaluation of the impact of energy management systems on energy efficiency in companies.
Prior to joining adelphi, Johannes Fehr was employed as research assistant at the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research (ifeu) where he worked on building simulations. He previously worked on various projects as part of the Climate Knowledge and Innovation Communities (Climate-KICs) seeking energy efficient solutions in industrial production and for public bodies.
Johannes Fehr holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency from the University of Kassel, Germany. Prior to that, he earned a bachelor degree in Energy and Environmental Management from the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. His course of study included two semesters abroad at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and at the Universidad de Málaga, Spain.
