Julia Schmidt works as a Business Development Manager in adelphi’s business development department where she supports all activities related to acquisitions and bid management. Furthermore she is active in the optimisation of internal procedures and also has research responsibilities.
Prior to her time with adelphi, Julia took part in an interdisciplinary research project on emotions in cultural perspective at the Freie Universität Berlin. As a research assistant, she was responsible for the independent implementation of a qualitative interview-based study and also looked after the conceptual makeup of quantitative investigations.
Julia holds a Master’s degree in social and cultural anthropology, political science and communication studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Germany. During her studies, she focused particularly on empirical social research on conflict and peace in post-conflict societies.
