Magdalena Klatt works at adelphi as Business Development Specialist. She supports the team in bid management, carries out research tasks and contributes to the development of internal processes.
Before joining adelphi, Magdalena Klatt gained a wealth of practical experience in administration, law, languages and terminology. She worked for a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, where she was responsible for preparing and following-up on meetings. She also worked on questions of legal terminology at the Ministry of the German-speaking Community of Belgium. At a translation office, she supported interpreters and worked at a Scandinavian language school in the area of quality management and administration. She was also involved in the pilot test of an international research project on the digital presence of minority languages. During her semester abroad in Stockholm, she was the linguistic coordinator for German language cafés at the University of Stockholm.
Magdalena Klatt holds a Master's degree in Sociolinguistics and Multilingualism from Vytautas Magnus University Kaunas in Lithuania and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. During her studies, she spent one semester at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, one semester at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and two at Stockholm University. Magdalena was awarded a DAAD scholarship for her stay in Kaunas, and a scholarship by the Vytautas Magnus University for her outstanding achievements during the first semester. For her Master's thesis she analysed the representation of Brexit in German and Swedish media. Previously, Magdalena Klatt completed her Bachelor's degree in European Legal Linguistics at the University of Cologne.
