Martin Rohler is an independent consultant and Senior Associate. He provides support for the adelphi finance team in the areas of energy efficiency, SME and agricultural finance. A banker with roots in agriculture, Martin has successfully filled roles as a consultant, CEO, entrepreneur and board member with extensive project, product, budget and personnel responsibility. He has over 20 years of experience in over 35 countries with a focus on emerging and transition economies.
Before joining adelphi, Martin worked for the financial advisory firm LFS Advisory and the investment company Access Holding AG for 18 years. In those roles, he advised banks around the world on setting up and improving products and departments in the business areas of SME, energy and agricultural finance. Martin also held several supervisory board mandates and senior management positions, including as CEO and credit manager in institutions with several hundred employees, and as head of advisory services with budget, personnel and quality responsibility for an international portfolio of consulting projects. Martin holds certificates as a PV Professional from RENAC and as an accredited energy exchange trader from EEX.
Martin studied international agricultural economics at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the University of Minneapolis.
