Paul van Kaldenkerken works as a Research Analyst on urban transformation and green economy. His work focuses on the organization, conception and implementation of events and workshops as well as on the support of practice-oriented research on municipal climate protection and sustainable investment strategies.
Before joining adelphi, Paul van Kaldenkerken gained experience in political education and consulting, urban transformation and sustainable development. At the consulting firm step in Nienbergen, Lower Saxony, he gained his first practical experience in strategic-reflexive consulting of political actors as well as in consulting formats such as supervision, mediation and organizational development. As a recipient of the DAAD scholarship "German-Indian Sustainability and Climate Change Dialogue" he worked for TERI (The Energy & Resources Institute) in New Delhi, India and participated in a comparative study on Urban Low-Carbon Development in China and India. He is also a co-founder of Metropolis Parkour, a sports club for Parkour in Berlin that combines low-threshold sports with civic education.
Paul van Kaldenkerken graduated from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) with a Master's degree in Conflict Management and Mediation and is a certified mediator. He is also currently undergoing training in systemic organizational consulting at the consulting company step. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
