Paul van Kaldenkerken works as a Project Assistant in the fields of green financial products and investments, as well as municipal climate protection. His work focuses on the creation of screenings of the media landscape and current publications. In addition, he supports the project teams in various organizational and coordinating tasks.
Before joining adelphi, Paul gained experience in political education and counselling, urban transformation, and sustainable development. During his time at step, a consulting firm in Nienbergen, Lower Saxony, he gained his first practical experience in strategic-reflexive consulting for political actors, as well as in process monitoring in the form of supervision, mediation, and organizational development. As part of the project "Reclaim the city: German - Ukrainian youth exchange on participative citizenship and urban activism", he explored the potential of creative educational formats for urban transformation in Berlin and Kharkiv. As a student, Paul received the "German-Indian Sustainability and Climate Change Dialogue" DAAD scholarship, and completed an internship at TERI (The Energy & Resource Institute) in New Delhi, India, where he worked on a comparative study on low-carbon development in China and India. He is also co-founder of Metropolis Parkour, a sports club for Parkour in Berlin, which combines low-threshold sports with political education and practice.
Paul is completing a Master in Conflict Management and Mediation at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). He is also undergoing training on systemic organizational consulting at the consulting firm step. He completed his bachelor's degree in political science.
