Dr Jutta Knopf is a Professor at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. She holds the Chair for Sustainable Business Management in the Faculty of Sustainable Business. She is also course director for the Master’s in "Sustainable Business Management". Jutta Knopf cooperates with adelphi as a Senior Associate. She has extensive experience in research and consulting projects at the interface of economic and environmental topics.
Jutta Knopf manages projects in the areas of corporate social responsibility, business and human rights, sustainable and innovative approaches to public procurement, sustainability strategies in companies and governments, and green economy. She has several years' experience in developing, implementing and evaluating projects on sustainable development for national and international clients. She is familiar with a number of regions, ranging from India and the USA, all the way to Albania and the EU Member States. She is also certified by Capacity WORKS.
In her current role, Jutta Knopf is building on many years of practice-orientated research and consulting. During her doctoral thesis in Political Science at the Helmut Schmidt University, Hamburg, Dr Knopf worked on CSR-orientated communication in businesses in Germany and India. She combined her thesis with a research visit to Harvard University, where she collaborated with various chairs and CSR project groups. She studied Environmental Science at Leuphana University Lüneburg, and also holds a degree in Business Administration (B.A.). Jutta Knopf is a former Fellow of the German National Academic Foundation, and a winner of the Körber Foundation’s “Usable” transatlantic competition for fresh ideas.
