Silas Schürmann is a Senior Project Manager at adelphi where he works in the fields of energy efficiency, climate mitigation and climate adaptation. As a graduate in Environmental Engineering, he specialises in the technical and organisational aspects of sustainable energy use in industry, tourism and buildings, as well as issues concerning financing for energy efficiency and renewable energy
As a technical expert at adelphi, Silas Schürmann supports various projects in the fields of energy management, energy efficiency, and financing and also develops web applications. He gained work experience as a data analyst and product specialist in quality assurance for a company selling small autonomous solar systems, where he was responsible for the evaluation of data regarding product quality and service effort. He also developed methods and tools for firm- and hardware-tests of charge controllers.
Silas Schürmann studied Energy and Environmental Engineering with a focus on renewable energies and energy efficiency at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. His thesis dealt with the topic of “Energetic Optimisation in an Existing District Heating Network”.
Silas Schürmann has extensive knowledge in the areas of web development, data analysis and modeling. During his training as a carpenter, he gained experience in the construction and renovation of buildings. Silas Schürmann is a certified quality management officer and building energy consultant.
