Volkmar Diemer is a Project Manager for CMS/websites. He is primarily responsible for the direction and coordination of all major relaunch projects. Volkmar takes over all activities from planning to agency pitch to implementation and acts as an interface between the agency and adelphi as well as between the internal stakeholders. In addition to managing external service providers, he is also responsible for the editorial, design and technical implementation of the relaunch projects as well as time and cost controlling.
Before joining adelphi, Volkmar was a senior consultant at mediaworx berlin AG, where he was responsible for the planning and implementation of modern internet applications. Over the past twelve years he has gained extensive experience, both in the agile management of larger online/software projects with interdisciplinary project teams, and in the implementation of different marketing projects. Volkmar has worked on all project phases, from initiation, requirement determination, strategy, concept and design phase through implementation to quality assurance and roll-out (deployment). He acquired certification in project management (PMP) according to the PMI Institute standard in April 2012.
Up until April 2007, Volkmar worked for various agencies as a creative consultant, art director and designer. In addition to classic communication design, he focussed on usability, user interfaces and the development of complex internet applications. Familiar with the design worlds of offline and online alike, Volkmar has a lot of experience with their design tools and applications. As a trained photographer, manual precision is just as important to him as a well-thought-out, logical and aesthetically coherent concept.
