From 30 November to 11 December 2015, adelphi's experts on carbon markets, climate diplomacy, climate finance, local climate action and more are present in Paris for all of the COP21 discussions, including several key events.

Within the context of the international climate negotiations in Paris, adelphi’s staff and experts invite you to the following side events:

Linking ETS and International Cooperation

The event will explore how an effective international climate framework could achieve a greater mitigation outcome than the mere sum of the individual Parties’ contributions. To this end, it will highlight why transfers of emission reduction units and linkages of international climate policy need to be part of a future international climate framework if the world is to achieve the greatest mitigation outcome at the lowest possible cost.

Local Action Driving Transformation

Local climate action is a multi-level challenge. This event is focusing on local pioneers and enabling frameworks and strategies at the sub-national, national and international levels. We will share proceedings of the International Conference on Climate Action (www.ICCA2015.org), synthesized in the "Hanover Declaration: Local Action Driving Transformation".
