How do I raise awareness and motivate others to adapt climate-conscious habits? New answers to this question are explored in "Energiewende im Kopf (Energiewende in Mind) Promoting Mediation, Learning and Educational Processes," a workshop that will take place on February 6, 2018 in Wuppertal.
How does one convince consumers to make a permanent habit of saving electricity? Which methods help motivate people to practice energy- and climate-conscious behaviour? These are questions that many climate policy actors repeatedly raise when teaching seminars and workshops.
Initiating permanent changes in behaviour is a methodological challenge: The participants of the National Top Runner Initiative and EnergyAgency NRW method workshop seek new answers to the question: How do I convey my concerns so that my target group reflects on their own behaviour and so that I also trigger a willingness to change behaviours?
Questions, readings, thought scenarios, & many more interactive elements await the participants. The principle "Learning by doing" stands in the foreground. Participants have the opportunity to present proven methods for seminars and workshops and to practice them at the workshop. The joint experimentation of this method initiates a process of discussion, reflection and realisation for participants’ own educational and consulting practices.
Would you yourself like to present a proven seminar or workshop method? Please contact Tom Küster (kuesterenergieagentur [dot] nrw (kuester[at]energieagentur[dot]nrw)).
