Sustainability is no longer a niche topic. There is virtually no organisation today that does not align their activities with appropriate measures for action. A newly developed "sustainability atlas" provides some guidance on this topic.

In the context of the project "Meta analysis - Political and economic sustainability strategies" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), different national and international sustainability concepts were analysed and evaluated. This was done based on the results of 32 cases from the government and business sector and 12 analytical in-depth studies. You can find all studies and project outcomes, in German only, at: http://www.innovative-nachhaltigkeit.de This Website also offers some glimpses into the final workshop, “Rio+20: Governance for a sustainable development: Dialog and transparency as an impulse sustainable development?”, which took place at the Free University of Berlin on 23 November.

The "Meta analysis" project was lead by adelphi and carried out in collaboration with the Research Centre for Environmental Policy at the Free University of Berlin (FFU) and the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW). The project is part of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research’s thematic focus on "Innovative Policies for Sustainable Development".
