In the context of the project "Meta analysis - Political and economic sustainability strategies" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), different national and international sustainability concepts were analysed and evaluated. This was done based on the results of 32 cases from the government and business sector and 12 analytical in-depth studies. The "Meta analysis" project was lead by adelphi and carried out in collaboration with the Research Centre for Environmental Policy at the Free University of Berlin (FFU) and the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW). The project is part of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research’s thematic focus on "Innovative Policies for Sustainable Development".
