Asian delegation trip to study energy efficiency

To promote the exchange of best practices in energy efficiency and renewable energy, adelphi, along with the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), organised a delegation trip to Germany for 25 participants, representing 13 Asian countries. The mission incorporated visits to installations that have implemented energy efficient techniques and technologies. It also provided the opportunity to interact with European counterparts to see examples of concrete, applied energy efficiency solutions and learn about the latest energy efficiency initiatives.

Moreover, the participants learned about smart metering of energy consumption, modern energy management systems for industries and building financial support programmes so to promote energy efficiency in products and technologies. The visits focused on small and medium sized enterprises who handle pumping, ventilation, lighting and other similar technologies. Once observed and analysed, the participants discussed how these technologies connect to environmental management and other related management systems.
