Internationalising Strategies for middle-sized European Enterprises

The economic environment has drastically changed in the last several years for many European companies. Greater transparency and transaction in the market equals increased competition as well as new opportunities. In order to adjust to international competition for the long-term, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) require practical, oriented advice and training. Therefore, adelphi developed international business consulting services for European SMEs so that they can enter new, foreign markets.

In this project, adelphi provided advice to two companies in the healthcare and environmental sector by supporting them in implementing management and operational structures for international business approaches. Training the employees and developing the internal tools and instruments necessary for developing foreign markets was the main focus in seven thematic workshops.
