Supporting non-financial reporting in financial institutions

The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is mandated by the Indian government to support the local MSME sector; this includes the consideration of environmental and work standards of its MSME clients as part of SIDBI’s internal risk management.

In the Supporting Non-Financial Reporting in Financial Institutions project, adelphi provided support to SIDBI on behalf of the GIZ's MSME umbrella programme, contributing to a conference on Non-Financial Reporting and Risk Management for Financial Institutions in India. adelphi also developed a paper concerning the outcome of this cooperation and recommendations for activities related to non-financial reporting within SIDBI and in cooperation with GIZ’s MSME programme.
