Miha Jensterle works as Research Analyst in the field of energy efficiency. His key topics are technical, economic and environmental aspects of energy efficiency and emissions reductions measures and programmes for industry and commerce. The foci of his work are monitoring and evaluation projects, energy efficiency standards for buildings and industry, energy management, as well as the systemic perspective of energy systems. Besides Germany and other EU Member States, the geographical focus of Miha’s work are developing countries.
Prior to joining adelphi, Miha worked as project engineer in the field of technical building equipment, specializing in energy efficiency in the building sector, energy supply concepts, and energy-saving refurbishments. He also carried out calculations of building energy consumption with passive house planning tools and worked on analyses to determine the financial viability of energy efficiency measures in buildings.
Miha recently obtained the title of MA Sustainability and Quality Management from the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Prior to that, he received a diploma in mechanical engineering with emphasis on energy engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He spent an exchange semester in Barcelona.
