KUONI, an international tourism company from Switzerland, wanted to expand its activities as regards corporate responsibility for water usage and limiting climate change. To meet this challenge, adelphi conducted a project on sustainable tourism in Egypt, looking at the problem of competing water usage habits between the local population and the tourist industry.
As part of a dialogue process, all important representatives and stakeholders were incorporated, including employees, clients, scientists, analysts, investors, the media, non-governmental organisations and other partners in the public and private sectors. adelphi developed the dialogue process together with KUONI and assisted further by presenting and documenting the proceedings. Furthermore, adelphi also supported KUONI in conducting projects which developed as a result of the stakeholder dialogues.
