Supporting the implementation of the European chemicals regulation REACH

Under the European chemicals regulation REACH, the registration deadline for medium market quantities of chemicals was the end of May 2013. These substances are often brought to market by small and medium-sized enterprises. For these organisations, properly implementing the legal requirements presents a special challenge. In response, the Federal Environmental Agency (UBA) and the Federal Environment Ministry (BMU) will thus continue their successful "REACH in Practice" series in 2012 and 2013 with eight further specialist workshops on various current issues and the professional implementation of REACH.

adelphi supports the project team in organising the workshops. In addition to the teaching of technical content, the workshops will again provide an excellent forum for direct exchange between operating practitioners, representatives of federal and state authorities and experts from research and consulting institutions on the state of REACH’s implementation.
