The participants analysed the results of the recent climate summit in Copenhagen such as the political challenges concerning climate change and security. Further topics discussed included synergies and interactions between climate change and energy security policies. The event was jointly conducted by adelphi, German Watch and the German Institute for International and Security Affairs., which was part of the “Civil Crisis Prevention – Environment and Resources” project, funded by the Federal Environment Agency and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
