Registration open for ICAP-IETA Carbon Market Virtual Pavilion

ICAP and IETA are excited to announce the launch of the Virtual Carbon Market Pavilion website, featuring a detailed agenda and list of confirmed pavilion events, registration info, event partners, and high-level speakers. The event will be held on the 11th and 12th of November.

The postponement of the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in Glasgow to November 2021 risks delaying climate negotiations but may also affect momentum of carbon pricing in recent years. The International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) and the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) want to create an opportunity to engage stakeholders from the international community and ETS jurisdictions in discussions and exchanges centered around carbon markets and priorities for carbon pricing in the years ahead.

The Virtual Pavilion will feature a two-day program of high-level discussions, side events, and interactive sessions, along with an informal carbon markets networking arena for people to connect and stay in touch. ICAP has a number of events scheduled throughout both days of the pavilion, including side events focused on topics such as border carbon adjustments, CORSIA, and the role of emissions trading in achieving net-zero targets, as well as interactive “In Conversation With...” events with carbon market thought leaders such as Andrei Marcu, Jos Delbeke, and Karsten Neuhoff.

For more information, please visit the website. ICAP looks forward to connecting!
